Known for blockbuster events and beloved radio DJs, in 2015 iHeartmedia took a bold step into the world of social by launching their now popular Snapchat channel. Working with the head of Digital Strategy and our VP of Digital Content I helped craft our Snapchat strategy and offering as well as a number of new branded content offerings aimed at bringing this radio giant into the digital era.

Building a Social Presence
From the moment it launched the iHeartmedia Snapchat channel was a massive hit, quickly becoming one of the top-rated channels within the newly launched Snapchat offering. As a launch partner, we worked closely with the Snapchat team to create platform appropriate content.
This high-profile and deeply collaborative effort brought together a team of top digital experts within the company to create our channel offering from scratch.

Infusing digital into the world of radio
I was brought on at iHeartmedia specifically because of my digital experience. While at the organization I worked to build digital thinking into multi-layered campaigns. Not only was this done at a campaign level, I also worked in collaboration with the broader digital team to build a digital media kit as well as GTM materials for new digital centric content like ‘Favorites Radio’. Additionally, I built sales materials and sales strategies to elevate the then new proprietary social media influencer network.
